Self-Myofascial Release for Stress Relief
 Sunday, March 30th at 12:00 -1:30 pm
Cost: $40 (per person)
Location: Yoga Solace Club

Do you have tight spots or creakiness that you just can’t seem to stretch away? Come join Allison to learn Self-Myofascial Release (SMFR) techniques that can help you connect with and soften tight muscles throughout your body. Allison will lead you through a series of self-massage techniques that you can use to release hidden (or glaring) problem spots throughout your body.  The session will include breath work, and self massage with therapy balls of different sizes and densities.  You will be fully in charge of your experience so that you can learn for yourself and repeat the movements at home.  You will come out of this workshop with a deeper understanding of your body’s hidden holding patterns and knowledge of how to release them. Allison’s goal will be for you to leave feeling both empowered and relaxed.

No yoga experience is necessary.  All tools and props will be provided.

Yoga Alliance CE credits available.

Please alert the studio/instructor if you have any of the following: Osteoporosis, Osteopenia, Vertigo, Latex Allergies, have had recent surgery or are pregnant.  We can discuss and be prepared to modify for you!

Expect very easy yoga shapes on the floor and long restorative poses in between, connecting to the rhythm of your breath.
